This book is mainly an introduction to the principles of Orthopedics, which is written by different Orthopedic Surgeons who have specialized in, or are interested in, the subjects they have written in. This volume concentrates on Trauma in various regions, such as the upper limb, lower limb and spine. I was an undergraduate and post-graduate teacher at the University of Liverpool, UK, and the University of London, UK, for the undergraduates and for the fi nal FRCS candidates.
