This book is a tribute to Professor Dr. Christoph Huber and his lifetime achievements. It is also a testimony to the scientific and medical progress in the growing field of immuno-oncology which is about to improve the standard of care for cancer patients. In 2002, anticipating the possibilities of immunotherapy in the treatment of cancer, Christoph Huber, together with a core group of basic scientists and clinicians founded the Association for Cancer Immunotherapy (CIMT). Since then, CIMT has grown into the largest European platform and expert meeting with sole focus on cancer immunology.
