The purpose of this book is to provide professionals who study and treat men with androgen deficiency, the latest developments, evolving concepts, and strategies for the treatment of this ever-growing field. Over the last decade, there has been double-digit growth in the industry that treats male hypogonadism with androgen replacement. Still, the majority of men who suffer with this condition are left untreated. More importantly, there is a paucity of long-term randomized controlled clinical trials in middle-aged and elderly men from which to base our treatment decisions.
