The contributors and I took on this project with Thieme to put together a practical and structured guide for pediatric eye surgeries commonly performed by pediatric ophthalmologists. The book will be useful for medical trainees, including medical students, residents, and fellows, to become familiar with the principles and steps of the surgeries before encountering them in the operating room. It will also be useful for surgeons to review the tips and pearls given by the contributors, especially when planning a lessfrequently performed procedure.
