ABO blood group incompatibility kidney transplantation(ABOi-KT) started in the 1980s. The country which has accumulated a wealth of experience is Japan. In the early days, to implement of this kind of transplant, the doctors were working to remove the native preexisting antibodies and decrease the number of B cells in the body; more obvious results have been achieved.
