Minimally invasive surgery has become the standard-of-care approach for the treatment of adrenal tumors. As with cholecystectomies, current surgical approach for most adrenalectomies is performed either by anterior-lateral laparoscopic or by posterior retroperitoneoscopic approaches. The Atlas of Adrenal Surgery is designed to illustrate different techniques on how to perform successful adrenalectomies by using different approaches.
