When I was a young television watcher, a ubiquitous and now much spoofed public service announcement ran like this: Image of an egg held in a hand. Voice: “This is your brain.” Image of a hand cracking the egg and dumping it into sizzling fry pan. Voice: “This is your brain on drugs. Any questions?” In this third volume of the Yearbook of Nanotechnology in Society , we begin to explore the question, “Will this be your brain on nano?” .
