The purpose of this book is to provide a perspective on the current status of bioimaging technologies developed for assessment of quality of musculoskeletal tissues, with emphasis on bone and cartilage, and evaluations of scaffold biomaterials developed for enhancement of repair of musculoskeletal tissues; these include QCT, pQCT, micro-CT for animals and humans, nano-CT,MRI, ultrasound and other advanced imagingmodalities.
