Hand eczema is a ubiquitous problem, affecting many people worldwide and resulting in lost work productivity and diminished quality of life. Fortunately, we are continuing to learn more about the hand and more about hand eczema. Hand eczema is far more heterogeneous than originally thought, and this heterogeneity has implications for management.
