It was a warm day in late July 2002 during the 50th Annual Montagna Symposium on the Biology of Skin when two of us met for the first time. We knew each other longer; the younger part has admired the more experienced part for his pioneer work and great contribution to science, and the latter part was well informed on the scientific work of the younger, but they have simply never met before in person.
