Pediatric surgery is a rapidly growing specialty. There are several textbooks on pediatric surgery but most of them are big and reference text books. Over more than 20 years of experience in the field of pediatric surgery and pediatric urology, I decided to write this book on pediatric surgery. This is different than any of the already written text books. It is actually a well-illustrated, easy to read and quick reference book. It is written in a simple way, point by point, and should be useful to consultant pediatric surgeons, fellows, specialists, residents, and nurses as well as pediatricians and neonatologists. The book covers most areas in pediatric surgery and pediatric urology with emphasis on the most important points relevant to the patient’s management including clinical, operative, radiological, and hand drawn illustrations.
