Obesity During
Pregnancy in Clinical
Practice
We have had a strong passion for making a difference in the lives of adults and children through our research. Our individual careers as a clinician-researcher (Nicholson) and an epidemiologist (Baptiste-Roberts) has provided on-going and unique opportunities to influence the health of women across the lifespan. We have targeted much of our efforts on obesity and diabetes because of the underlying mechanisms linking these two conditions and the transgenerational link between mothers and their offspring.
