We are pleased to offer the 1st edition of Core Concepts in Parenchymal Kidney Disease . Since the original descriptions of parenchymal kidney disease by Richard Bright in 1927, much has changed about our knowledge of glomerular and tubulointerstitial disease. Newer information on the diagnosis and classification of glomerulonephritis has emerged, and there has been much recent progress in pathogenesis. Our book encapsulates some of these advances and provides an updated review. We hope that this book, either in its paper or electronic forms, is a valuable resource to our target audience—practicing nephrologists and nephrology trainees.
