Body sculpting with implants is something that surgeons have been doing for over 50 years, since the advent of breast augmentation implant procedures in the early 1960s. I personally have been performing body implant surgery, outside of breast augmentation, for over 20 years and have seen all manner of patients and conditions requiring or wanting muscle sculpting. The first body implant procedure that I became familiar with was, of course, breast augmentation surgery.
