Around the time of installing our fi rst SPECT/CT system in North Wales with highpowered CT, it became apparent that there was very little published work available to assist those needing information on department design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and clinical implementation. Consequently, this book was conceived in the context of providing a concise reference book that would bring practical and helpful information to radiographers and technologists who are relatively new to using SPECT/CT.
