The development of Integrated Neurocognitive Therapy (INT) for schizophrenia patients represents the culmination of a long and rich history of comprehensive psychological therapies coming from the group in Bern around Hans Brenner and Volker Roder. I remember well my several visits to Bern for stimulating international conferences focused on the identification and modification of cognitive and social processes in schizophrenia.
