Public Health Perspectives, Use Cases and Challenges

I wrote this manuscript by considering those who dedicated their careers to public health to support their functions and activities through a harmonized and discussed collection of scientific developments and best practices reached in the secondary use of health data. I also considered colleagues who believe that improvements in clinical practice, advancements in personalized medicine and the sustainable future of healthcare systems are closely related to the widespread use of data-driven digital technologies, including tools based on artificial intelligence (AI).
