From Theory to Methodology

This book on social and affective neuroscience was inspired by an event, the Sao Paulo School of Advanced Science on Social and Affective Neuroscience (SPSAN), which took place in August 2018 over a period of 10 days. The SPSAN was organised by the Social and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory (SCNL) of the Mackenzie Presbyterian University in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and funded by the Sao Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). The aim of the SPSAN was to deepen the understanding of social and affective neuroscience and learn more about how the current state of research can explain phenomena we experience in our daily lives as social beings.
