This book is the result of years of teaching anatomy and practical experience with diagnostics and therapy. Proficiency in targeted palpation is the key to a number of local applications, ranging from physical therapy to local injection. My realization that practitioners do not really learn anatomy until they have translated theoretical knowledge into tactile familiarity led me to reassess the importance of surface anatomy.
