We are honored and delighted to present the third edition of The Growing Spine: Management of Spinal Disorders in Young Children textbook to you. It has been 10 years since the first edition (2011) was published. The success of the previous two editions has encouraged us to develop and expand a new third edition. In fact, in the preface of the first edition, we foresaw this possibility and shared with the readers our prediction that the content of this textbook would need to be revised and expanded every 2–3 years to accommodate the ever-expanding and changing knowledge on this topic.
