The development of digital medicine has promoted the rapid development of digital technology in orthopedics. Over the past 20 years, digital orthopedic techniques have considerably developed. In 2006, we presented the concept of “digital orthopedics,” wherein we classified, refined, and promoted the digital technical attributes of the field of orthopedics with great variety and broad content, achieving a higher and faster digital technology development.
