Born from the wish to contribute to the development of graduating medical students and residents in this specialty, this book was a massive undertaking by students that belong to academic leagues in cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, as well as the Department of Academic Leagues of the Brazilian Society of Cardiovascular Surgery.
