A Guide for Surgeons in Training and
Medical/Radiation Oncologists

The idea for a volume covering those aspects of oncology most relevant to the general surgeon arose when the ACOI (Italian Association of Hospital Surgeons) assigned to me the presidency of the XXXIInd national congress. This book therefore aims to identify and describe the treatment options for malignancies that are most frequently adopted in general surgery departments, with emphasis on the most innovative and efficient procedures.
