The Consolidated Action Plan to Prevent and Combat
Multidrug- and Extensively Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis in
the WHO European Region, 2011-2015

Since I took office as the WHO Regional Director for Europe, I have intensified our support for Member States in their efforts to improve public health, prevent disease and provide equitable access to health services in the framework of the new European health policy Health 2020. Health 2020 will build partnerships for action and capture promising innovations to address drivers of health and health equity.
