Case studies from Europe
Th e European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies supports and promotes evidence-based health policy-making through comprehensive and rigorous analysis. Its collaborator in this two-part study (the European Health Property Network) is a network of government agencies dedicated to understanding and advising on the role of the estate in health care. My own organization – the Dutch Centre for Health Assets (part of TNO, the Dutch national research and development agency) – is a partner within the European Centre for Health Assets and Architecture, which has taken on the research functions of the European Health Property Network and shares responsibility for bringing this study to a conclusion.
