Practical Ophthalmology: A Manual for Beginning Residents

Practical Ophthalmology

Preston H. Blomquist

2015

I recall my first day as an ophthalmology resident. I was expected to quickly familiarize myself with the ophthalmic exam and equipment and to rapidly develop a working knowledge base to allow me to see patients in the clinic and on call. I took comfort in the book clutched in my hands, the third edition of A Manual for the Beginning Ophthalmology Resident, edited by Dr. James M. Richard.
