At the time of this writing, I feel tired. From my experience with “The Islets of Langerhans” [1], and “Transient Receptor Potential Channels” [2], I knew how much energy it takes to edit a book of this type. It steals time from other academic activities, destroys leisure and holidays, and it may affect your health. Why did I decide to edit this book? The answer is short: I like the field of Ca 2+ signaling.
