During the past few years, attention towards epigenetics has experienced an unprecedented growth. Interestingly, despite that epigenetics has become a very popular term in molecular biology and biomedicine, its definition still is in evolution, perhaps because the boundaries of epigenetic regulation and epigenetic phenomena are still unkown.
