At the Forefront of Modern Immunology

It is an interesting and even exciting experience to be the editor of a scientific book. After the decision of producing the book has been made together with the publisher, the first step is to establish the list of topics to be covered and the list of potential authors. Regarding the latter, the editor is in the same situation as the director of a movie in that he wants to have as much stars in the field as possible to contribute a chapter. For that, the potential authors have to be contacted and invited.
