This book is meant to fill a gap in the HIV prevention literature. With few exceptions, behavioral scientists have conducted empirical studies on the sexual relationships of people living with HIV infection since 1996. Before then, such research was considered by some of the leading behavioral researchers as ‘a political minefield’.
