The constitution of the WHO states in the first article: “The objective of the World Health Organization shall be the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health”. In few places of the world this aim has been achieved. For Sub-Saharan Africa in particular, there is a long way to go. And within Sub-Saharan Africa some countries are better off than others.
