Disorders of the pelvic fl oor are very common, particularly affecting the female population. Although not life-threatening, the impact of these disorders on the quality of life of those affected cannot be understated, and indeed may be devastating. Imaging plays an important role in the management of these disorders, its utility further increased with the new and valuable insights provided by current techniques.
