Single-Cell Organisms to Man

This volume contains viewpoints of investigators studying the aging process in species
ranging from yeast to man. The effort to compile these viewpoints has been driven by recent, remarkable discoveries about the underlying mechanisms important to aging. Single mutations that extend life span have been identified in yeast, worms, flies, and mice.
