The concept for Liver Metastases arose from the need for an authoritative treaty in this
important subject. Contrasting with the usual paradigm, in which the treatment of liver metastases is just a chapter in a broader surgical or medical oncology textbook, our work extensively addresses the contemporary multidisciplinary management of liver metastases. Throughout the text, experiences from the paradigms of colorectal cancer metastases treatment strategies are used to point to the new directions in the management of liver metastases.
