When I decided to rise to the challenge of writing a manual on the percutaneous treatment of the left main coronary artery (LMCA), I tried to stand in the shoes of my readers, namely interventional cardiologists who wish to treat these types of lesion, but who refrain from doing so owing to a lack of confidence due to technical and procedural reasons.
