Many years’ experience teaching undergraduates and postgraduates in both hematology and internal medicine and daily consultation with colleagues both in hospital and private clinical practice have brought home very clearly the problems experienced by most students (and practitioners) in the approach to hematological problems and the interpretation of hematology reports.
