More than 50 years ago, during the civil rights crisis, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was asked why black people could not just take their time and allow discrimination to die out and for prejudicial attitudes to change rather than pushing so hard in a confrontational way, which often resulted in deadly consequences.
