As a cardiologist with a career interest in congenital heart disease in adults, I was delighted to have the opportunity to read Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Congenital Heart Disease and write a foreword for it. Over past two decades, CMR has come to occupy an ever more important place in the assessment and management of patients with congenital heart defects (CHD) and other cardiovascular disorders.
